Wedding bells will soon be in the air for Glee teacher Sue Sylvester! The scheming cheerleading coach in the musical drama will soon tie the knot in a surprise ceremony, according to Jane Lynch — the actress who portrays her.

“Sue gets married — that’s all I’m going to tell you,” Jane said. “I probably shouldn’t have said anything!”

Despite her nervousness about letting the plot line slip, Jane claims the wedding will take place within the next three or four episodes on US television but won’t feature a big musical number.

The 50-year-old star — who married her psychologist partner Lara Embry earlier this year — also spoke about Gwyneth Paltrow’s upcoming Glee cameo, calling the Shakespeare in Love actress “amazing”.

“I did a couple of scenes with Gwyneth,” Jane said. “She’s got the goods. She can sing, she can dance. I really was blown away. I saw them doing a mash-up of Singin’ in the Rain and Umbrella, and they are singing and dancing their hearts out, and Gwyneth is leading them. She’s amazing.”

Gwyneth will play a substitute teacher who fills in for Spanish teacher and Glee club coach Will Schuester, portrayed by Matthew Morrison, and Jane has revealed the two characters quickly develop a rivalry.

“She’s a substitute teacher for Will. Will gets the monkey flu and I expose him to it – I turn a sneezing kid on him so that he gets the monkey flu,” she said.

“So Gwyneth Paltrow is the substitute, and the kids start to all love her. So there’s kind of a rivalry between Schue and Gwyneth’s character
