Jennifer Hudson will reportedly aide Kelly Rowland during the Judges’ Houses stage of The X Factor. It was previously claimed that ‘OMG’ star Usher had been approached to join Rowland, helping her to choose which four members of her category to take through to the live shows.
Usher, who has performed on the ITV1 series, was said to be a fan of the show, as well as getting on well with Syco boss Simon Cowell.
However, while The Sun claims that the 32-year-old had to cancel at the last minute, a spokeswoman for the star told Digital Spy that he was “never” involved due to being busy working on a new album.
Hudson rose to fame on the 2004 series of American Idol, and went on to win an Oscar for her role in Dreamgirls.
